The new Gainsbourg film was insightful, as I never really knew anything about his life but always enjoyed his music. I found the film surreal and atmospheric, but also rushed at times. My favourite scenes were Serge playing La Javanaise on the piano and the recording of the song Bonnie and Clyde with Brigitte Bardot.
